The warmth of stone, the silence of nature
Villa Lykia Taş lies in İslamlar, a village 5.5 km above Kalkan known for its cool mountain air and rural charm. Built with traditional local stonework, the villa sits in the middle of a 1,400 m² plot of olive and carob trees. From the terrace you can see the Taurus Mountains on one side and, in the distance, Kalkan Bay and the Mediterranean on the other.
A completely private pool
The 4 × 9 m pool inside the walled garden cannot be seen from outside – it was designed for conservative families and anyone who values their privacy. Pool heating means you can swim in spring and autumn too. A dining area under the pergola, a barbecue, a hammock and sun loungers make it easy to spend the whole day in the garden.

Charming stone house with real character
This restored stone villa is full of character – thick walls keep it cool even in June, and the little pool is perfect for two. We loved breakfast on the terrace with views down to the sea. Everything in the listing was accurate, and check-in instructions were crystal clear.

Great value in a peaceful spot
Three couples, three bedrooms, no arguments over rooms – a good sign. The villa is peaceful and the pool area is lovely in the evening. Wi-Fi was a bit slow for video calls, which is the only reason for four stars. Walking distance to a nice local restaurant.
