A corner for everyone
In a group of eight, everyone runs on a different clock: the children are in the pool by breakfast, the teenagers sleep in and the adults linger over dinner. That is why, at this size, several seating areas, shaded terraces and a pool deck and garden that can be used separately matter more than one big lounge.
When choosing
- Look for at least four bedrooms and ideally three or four bathrooms.
- Is there a shallow end or a separate children's pool?
- Is there a barbecue and a dining table for eight to ten in the garden?
- Wi-Fi speed may matter if someone needs to work remotely.
- How close is the villa to the road or neighbours? Sound travels with a big group.
Areas for group activities
From Fethiye you can paraglide at Ölüdeniz, explore Saklıkent Gorge or take a day trip to İztuzu, the turtle beach at Dalyan. Göcek is famous for its Twelve Islands boat tours. Kaş offers Kekova and excellent dive sites, while Kalkan is known for relaxed evenings and restaurants with views. In Bodrum, Yalıkavak marina and boat days between the bays work well for big groups.
