Privacy Policy

Overview

Villora is a listing platform for holiday villas in Türkiye. No bookings are made and no payments are taken from guests on our site; visitors contact villa owners or agencies directly. This policy explains which personal data we process when you use the site.

Data controller: Villora (company title to be completed), Kalkan Mah., Kaş / Antalya, Türkiye. Email: info@villora.com

Data We Process

  • Inquiry form data: name, email, phone, travel dates and your message. This information is forwarded to the relevant villa owner or agency.
  • Anonymous usage statistics: page views, clicks on contact buttons, device type, country and language. We use a random visitor ID cookie for this; your IP address is stored only as a short hash.
  • Favourites: stored only in your browser and never sent to our servers.
  • Owner accounts: name, company, tax details, contact details and payment records.
  • Preference cookies for language and currency, plus session and security (CSRF) cookies.

Why We Use It

  • To forward your inquiry to the villa owner you contacted
  • To operate, secure and improve the platform
  • To provide membership and advertising services to owners and invoice them
  • To send notification emails and comply with legal obligations

For visitors in the EU, our legal bases under the GDPR are the performance of a contract or steps at your request (inquiries, owner accounts), our legitimate interests (security, anonymous statistics), legal obligations (invoicing) and your consent where required.

Third Parties

Map tiles are loaded from a third-party provider (OpenStreetMap/CARTO), which may receive your IP address. Texts written by owners may optionally be translated via OpenAI; guest data is not included. Hosting and email providers process data only to deliver their services to us.

Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose and any legal retention period, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and data portability. EU visitors may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. For your rights under Turkish law, please see our KVKK notice. Requests: kvkk@villora.com
