“New” here means the villa has recently been published on Villora. It may be a brand-new build, or a villa that has been let for years and has just joined our platform. If the age of the building, the date of the last renovation or when the pool was added matters to you, ask the owner.
Checking a new listing
- Are the photos up to date? Feel free to ask the owner for extra photos or a short video.
- Is the Tourism Permit number shown? This permit from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism under Law 7464 is mandatory for short-term holiday rentals.
- Location: confirm the distance to the beach, shops and town, and the condition of the access road.
- Terms: ask for the deposit, cleaning fee, changeover day and, in winter, any heating fee in writing.
- Track record: if the villa has been let through other channels before, you can ask the owner about previous guests’ experience.
