Villas to Rent in Gümüşlük
At the western tip of the Bodrum peninsula, Gümüşlük is a low-rise fishing village famed for its sunsets and waterfront tables. Browse villas nearby and contact the owners directly.
Bodrum's bohemian corner
Gümüşlük sits on the site of ancient Myndos, about 22 km from Bodrum town. Because the village lies within a protected archaeological area, building has been tightly restricted, and it has kept a gentle, low-rise character that feels a world away from the busier resorts. Fish restaurants set their tables right at the water's edge, and as the sun drops behind the islands the whole bay turns gold.
Rabbit Island and the bay
Just offshore is Rabbit Island (Tavşan Adası), which you can reach by wading across a shallow strip of water – a favourite with children. The bay is sheltered and good for swimming, and the village has an artistic, unhurried feel, with small galleries and cafés.
