Kömürlük is the area around Kalkan's town beach, on the west side of the harbour. Villas here put the beach, the harbour and the old town's restaurants within easy walking distance.

Kömürlük takes its name from Kalkan's pebble town beach, tucked in on the western side of the harbour. It is a convenient spot for a morning swim or a quiet afternoon by the water, and the harbour's cafés and beach platforms are just a few minutes' walk away.
Villas in and around Kömürlük are ideal if you prefer not to rely on a car. Many have private pools and terraces with views over the harbour or bay. Couples and families with older children appreciate being able to walk to the beach, the old town and the rooftop restaurants, then return to the peace of their own villa.
Kalkan is built on slopes, so even in Kömürlük there may be steps or short climbs. If you have young children or limited mobility, ask the owner about access and stairs. The beach is pebbly, so water shoes are a good idea.
Dalaman Airport is about 120 km away, roughly 1 hour 45 minutes by car. Kaputaş beach is around 7 km east and Patara about 20 km west, both easy day trips.
