In the heart of nature, far from the world
Villa Kelebek Yamacı ("Butterfly Slope") sits on the cliffs above the sea in the village of Faralya, on one of the most spectacular stretches of the Lycian Way. Mornings begin with goat bells and birdsong; evenings end as the sun sinks towards Rhodes and turns the sea orange.
A stone-walled garden and a 3.5 x 8 m infinity pool that cannot be seen from outside offer complete privacy. That is why the villa is especially popular with conservative families looking for a secluded pool and with couples who simply want to be in their own world.
Inside
The 120 m² single-storey villa has two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom: one double and one twin. The living area and kitchen, finished in natural wood and stone, open onto the terrace through large glass doors. Part of the electricity comes from solar panels, and the house is run with respect for its natural surroundings.
Outdoors
The pergola terrace has sun loungers, a hammock strung between the trees and a wooden yoga deck for morning stretches. After a swim, rinse off in the outdoor shower and enjoy dinner under the stars.
The footpath down to the Butterfly Valley cove is about 2.5 km away, and the village's family-run restaurants are 500 metres away. Fethiye town is around 12 km away, so we recommend hiring a car.
