Holiday Villas with Underfloor Heating in Türkiye
Underfloor heating keeps stone and marble floors warm and heats the whole villa evenly, which makes a real difference in winter. Browse villas with underfloor heating and ask the owners directly how heating is charged.
Why underfloor heating matters
With underfloor heating, warmth rises evenly from the floor across the whole room. Many coastal villas have marble, granite or tiled floors that feel wonderfully cool in summer but cold underfoot in winter. With heating beneath them you can walk around barefoot, warm air does not collect under the ceiling and, unlike air conditioning on heat mode, there is no blowing fan, so the warmth is quieter and gentler. It is ideal for families with crawling babies, older guests and anyone planning a longer winter stay.
Questions to ask the owner
- Is underfloor heating on every floor and in the bathrooms, or only in some rooms?
- Is it electric, or run by a boiler or heat pump?
- Is heating included in the price, or charged by meter reading according to consumption?
- Floors warm up slowly: can the system be switched on before you arrive?
- Are there room thermostats so you can set the temperature yourself?
Season and regional tips
Underfloor heating comes into its own from late October to April. Winters in Kaş, Kalkan and Fethiye are mild, but stone houses can still feel damp and chilly, and the same applies around Bodrum and Antalya. Not every villa is rented in winter, so agree dates and winter rates in advance. If you also want a heated pool, ask separately: underfloor heating does not cover the pool.
