Secluded Pool Villas in Türkiye – Not Overlooked
For many guests, a pool that cannot be seen from neighbours, the road or other hillside villas is essential. The villas on this page have pools and gardens designed to stay out of view.

Villa Kelebek Yamacı
What makes a pool secluded?
In a secluded-pool villa, the pool area is enclosed by high walls, fencing, mature planting or the layout of the villa itself, so that people using it cannot be seen from neighbouring villas, the road or the slopes above. In Türkiye these are often called “muhafazakar villas” (conservative villas), but they suit anyone who values privacy.
Who chooses them?
- Conservative and Muslim families who want women and girls to swim comfortably
- Honeymooners and couples looking for time alone
- Well-known guests and anyone who prefers to stay out of sight
- Families with small children who want a relaxed, enclosed space
What to check before you rent
“Secluded” can mean different things from one villa to another, so ask the owner for:
- Photos of the pool taken from several angles
- The height of the walls or screening, and whether the pool is enclosed on all sides
- Whether any neighbouring villa or road overlooks the pool area
- Whether the garden and terraces are private as well
- Confirmation that there are no cameras covering the pool area
Where to find them
Garden villas with secluded pools are common around Fethiye, particularly in Hisarönü, Ovacık and Islamlar. In Kalkan and Kaş, some hillside villas are designed to offer privacy without losing the view. Belek and Side in the Antalya region also have options with large, walled gardens.
