Holiday Villas with a Private Sauna in Türkiye
A sauna inside the villa, used only by your group, adds real comfort to a holiday – especially in the cooler months. This page lists villas with their own sauna.
Villa Panorama Kalkan
The benefit of a villa sauna
Unlike a shared hotel sauna, a villa sauna is used only by your group: you decide when, for how long and at what temperature. In the larger villas around Kalkan, Kaş and Fethiye, the sauna is often part of a spa area that may also include an indoor pool, jacuzzi, hammam or small gym.
When it matters most
A sauna can be used in summer, but it really comes into its own between November and March. For winter breaks, New Year getaways and long stays, a sauna together with an indoor pool and fireplace makes a villa comfortable all year round. It is also a treat in spring for walkers returning from the Kaş–Kalkan or Fethiye sections of the Lycian Way.
Questions to ask before you rent
- Is it a dry (Finnish) sauna or a steam room?
- How many people does it fit, and where is it located?
- Is use included in the price, or is there an extra charge?
- Does the villa also have a hammam, indoor pool or jacuzzi?
Using the sauna safely
Keep sessions short, drink plenty of water and avoid the sauna after drinking alcohol. Pregnant guests, people with heart or blood-pressure conditions and young children should take extra care.
