Quiet, Peaceful Villas in Türkiye
No bar music at midnight, no traffic hum, just cicadas and a breeze. The owners of these villas describe them as being in a quiet location, ideal for a properly restful holiday.
Who a quiet villa suits
Quiet villas sit away from nightlife, busy beach strips and main roads, often in a village, on a hillside or among olive groves and pine trees. They are ideal for couples who want to unwind, families with little ones who nap after lunch, readers and pool loungers, and anyone working remotely who needs calm.
There is a trade-off. Shops, restaurants and beaches are usually a drive away, so plan a hire car or transfers before you commit. If you like to head into town for dinner, ask what the road is like after dark, as some hill roads are narrow and winding.
Where to look
- Kaş: the Çukurbağ Peninsula and surrounding villages, peaceful yet close to town.
- Kalkan: the upper slopes above the centre and the Islamlar side.
- Fethiye: villages such as Kayaköy, Faralya and Üzümlü, away from the Ölüdeniz crowds.
- Göcek: a small, relaxed marina village, close to Dalaman airport.
Central Bodrum and Ölüdeniz are lively in summer, so if you are searching there, ask exactly how far the villa is from the busy areas.
Ask the owner
- How far are the nearest shop and restaurant, and can you walk?
- Is there any construction, wedding venue or beach club nearby?
- Is the access road paved and lit at night?
- How good are the mobile signal and Wi-Fi?
Good to know
Quietness is declared by the owner and can vary with the season; a venue nearby may be livelier in July and August. Villora does not handle bookings. Check the VillaNo and Tourism Permit number on the listing and agree everything directly with the owner, in writing.
