Cat-Friendly Holiday Villas in Türkiye
These villas aren’t tagged automatically. Each one has been marked by an owner who explicitly welcomes cats, whether you’re bringing your own or simply love having a few around.
Why a separate cat-friendly tag?
Most pet-friendly villas are set up with dogs in mind. Cats need different things: a space they can’t slip out of, a quiet corner and a sensible spot for a litter tray. Only owners who specifically welcome cats, and know what that involves, add this tag to their listing.
The street-cat culture of Kaş and Kalkan
Cats are part of daily life in Kaş and Kalkan. You’ll find them on café chairs, along the harbour and dozing in the shade of narrow old-town streets, often next to food bowls left out by shopkeepers. Some villa owners feed the neighbourhood cats that visit their garden, and many guests are happy to carry on during their stay – just ask the owner first. If you’re bringing your own cat, keep in mind that local cats may wander into the garden.
Ask before you travel with your cat
- How many cats are allowed, and is there an extra cleaning fee?
- Do the windows have insect screens or safety nets?
- Are balconies and terraces secure enough that a cat can’t escape?
- Are there any rules about furniture and fabrics?
- Do neighbourhood cats visit the garden?
- Where is the nearest vet?
Heat and travel
Summers on this coast are hot, so check that there is a cool, air-conditioned room for your cat. For the airport transfer, make sure the carrier can be secured in the vehicle.
Contact the owner directly
Villora is a listing platform, not a booking site. Use the VillaNo (for example KLKN-1129) to reach the owner by WhatsApp, phone or email for prices and availability, and check the Tourism Permit number on the listing before you rent.
