Villas that sleep twelve or more are relatively rare on this coast and usually sit on generous plots. In many, the bedrooms are split between the main house and a guest house or annex. That gives everyone a little privacy within a large group, though you may want to keep the main-house rooms for older guests.
What to plan for
- How many bedrooms are en-suite, and how many bathrooms in total?
- Is the pool, and the number of sun loungers, right for the whole group?
- Can the kitchen and dining table seat everyone at once?
- What are the neighbourhood rules on noise and quiet hours?
- Can a minibus transfer or extra cleaning staff be arranged for the group?
Areas
The Bodrum peninsula, particularly Yalıkavak and Göltürkbükü, has the widest choice of large properties. Kalkan and Kaş also have spacious, multi-level villas built into the hills. On the Antalya coast, Belek and Side are practical for big groups thanks to the relatively short airport transfer.
