Secluded Villas with Private Pools Not Overlooked
Villas where the pool and garden are shielded from neighbours, roads and footpaths, so you can swim and relax in complete privacy. Popular with conservative families and honeymooners; contact the owner directly to discuss the details.
What is a secluded villa?
A secluded villa, known in Türkiye as a muhafazakar or korunaklı villa, is designed so that its pool and outdoor areas cannot be seen from neighbouring houses, roads or walking paths. Privacy comes from high walls, timber or composite screens, covered pergolas, mature planting or simply the villa's position on its plot. These villas are especially popular with families who prefer modest dress, parents with young children and honeymoon couples.
What to check
Not every listing described as private offers the same level of seclusion. When looking at photos and talking to the owner, ask:
- Is the pool fully or only partly enclosed? Can it be seen from higher houses nearby?
- Is the garden gate or entrance separate from the pool area?
- Is there a shaded or covered seating area by the pool?
- On which days and at what times do the gardener, pool technician or cleaners visit during your stay?
- Is there an indoor or heated pool option?
Where to find them
Secluded villas are most common in Kalkan, the village of Islamlar above it, the Hisarönü and Ovacık area near Fethiye, and Kaş. Options also exist around Kemer and Belek in Antalya. Villas set in nature tend to be the most private, while those closer to town give easy access to beaches and restaurants.
Contact and peace of mind
There is no booking on Villora: you reach the owner directly via WhatsApp, phone or email shown on the listing. Before agreeing, confirm the VillaNo and the Tourism Permit number required under Law 7464, and clarify the deposit and changeover day.
Season tip
Secluded villas with an indoor or heated pool stay comfortable in spring and autumn too. Remember to ask about the heating charge in advance.
